Too Much Trouble Interiors

March 9, 2011

The release of Too Much Trouble is fast approaching.  I had some very exciting meetings last week with my editor and the publicist at Francis Lincoln

I talked with the publicist about events that I will be taking part in in relation to the launch of the book, one being the official launch of the book at the Diverse Voices award ceremony on 23rd June.  I am really looking forward to sharing Too Much Trouble with anyone who wants to read it.

To that end I am working on a scheme of lessons based on the book, hopefully they’ll be helpful to some teachers out there.  I’m hoping to get them up on the blog and my website at the same time as the book is launched.

My editor also showed me the first draft of some illustrations that a very talented designer at Francis Lincoln, Rachel, had been working on.  I absolutely loved them.  My editor assured me that I would see them in situe on the final interiors very soon.  They arrived today!

Here’s a sneak peak of some of my favourites.

I’m absolutely chuffed with them and can’t wait to see the book in the flesh even more now.  Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
